Tribunal Case Management (TCM)
Tribunal Case Management (TCM) is a system of core functions for Tribunals that covers the majority of Tribunal’s needs. It is recognised that each individual Tribunal will have unique requirements which would be addressed as add-ons as part of the TCM implementation process. Generally, Tribunal’s require a system to consolidate and enhance existing Case administration systems, including the management of Cash Receipting and the tracking of Case files. Because of large staff turnover, Tribunals look for a system with extensive prompting based on business rules. McGirr includes these needed features in Tribunal Case Management and provides a system base for streamlining the Tribunal’s administration.
The functionality that has been integrated into Tribunal Case Management includes:
- Support for the data entry of all application types for the Tribunal, within the guidelines of the relevant business rules and procedures set by law
- Vetting and checking of the application registrations for their compliance with the relevant business rules
- Receipt and disbursement of fees and trust payments, including the integrated use of bar coding and cheque swipe hardware
- Tracking case files during the lifetime of the case from the lodgement counter to the Tribunal hearings, the order processing and archiving of the case files after finalisation
- Seamless integration of the Word processing, E-mail and Fax software, automating the Tribunal’s correspondence thus minimising operator errors
- Recording the Tribunal’s public telephone enquiries
- Comprehensive searching, reporting and enquiry facilities
- Integrated security and auditing facilities
- Easy-to-use Online Help and Computer Based Training facilities
