While many business applications have security and control over who can access database tables, many of the direct database access products that are available today are less secure. AM provides historical information for audit purposes of all changes made to the database together with the Name and User ID of the person making the change. The date and time of all changes is also recorded and an inquiry and reporting facility is provided to access the data captured.
